Q: Who can do a Take Over?
A: Any young person around the 17-25 age bracket.
We ideally want to work with people who have finished school, but if that's not you, just reach out and we can see if there is a program to suit you.
Q: I want to do a Take Over, but I have no experience doing a project like this and I'm not sure what I can offer.
A: That's okay. Each Take Over is shaped to the teams abilities.
We will figure out a role that suits you!
Q: What if I need sign language?
A: Let us know your needs, and YTO will provide an interpreter for you.
Q: I feel nervous about working with a group of strangers - but the project sounds cool. What should I do?
A: We get it. Why not sign up with a friend or family member? You can do the Take Over together and help each other out.
Or bring a support person to your first few sessions and see how it feels?
Q: Where do Take Overs take place?
A: We are based in Loddon Campaspe.
Our Take Overs happen all over the region, and we have online options as well for people who can't make it to a physical location.
